The ST64 is a classic long tear drop shape with the additional twist of a trilateral LED filament that makes it stand out. The filaments have been arranged to maximise reflection by giving the illusion of the light bouncing off the inside of the light bulb at obtuse angles.
Vintage LED filament bulbs are the warmest on the market (this one measures just 2200k on the colour temperature scale) achieving a very similar look to the popular tungsten filament globes, just without the power consumption and consequent cost.
Also Vintage LED bulbs operate at a really low temperature, making them a lot safer. The old incandescent bulbs operated at temperatures up to 2800C. Ours typically don't go much above 30C, and can be touched even after hours of use.
With an average lifespan of 20,000 hours, you won't need to change this light bulb for years. Also amazingly cheap to run, if you left this ST64 bulb on for 24 hours, it would only cost 3 cents*.
*Using a 25c/kWh electricity rate.
